FAQ for Learn to Swim Programme
- What happens if it rains before my child's swimming lesson starts?
Parents are advised to bring their children to respective locations because classes will be held rain or shine even in drizzling condition. Only during bad weather conditions, the programme executive or the pool authority reserves the right to cancel or postpone the lesson for safety reasons.
- What does my child have to bring for swimming lessons?
Each child is required to bring a personal pair of goggles and kick-board for every lesson.
- What is the class size for swimming lessons (students to instructor ratio)?
-ACS Barker Rd, Shaw pool and Hwa Chong instituition- 6 : 1
-NSRCC- 6: 1 & Yishun SAFRA 8:1
- When my child cannot make it for classes, can he/she do a makeup?
Strictly No make-up lessons for non-attendance on the part of the students such as holiday, birthday party, wedding etc or personal matters. Those with medical certificates (MC) will be reviewed on case to case basis subject to 2 replacement class per term.
- Can I have my choice of instructor for swimming lessons?
Swimfast Aquatic Group Pte Ltd exercises evaluation and supervision over all instructors, thus having confidence in the teaching and professionalism of all its instructors. Therefore, we do not practice the pre-arrangement of selecting between Instructor and Students. You may register for a private class if it is necessary.
- What is the minimum age requirement for my child to learn swimming?
Children between 18 months to 4 years old are eligible for our toddler swimming class exclusively at Yishun SAFRA & ACS Barker. Children age 4 and above are eligible for our Learn-To-Swim programme at all locations.
- Do you have any trial lesson for swimming lesson?
No, we do not provide trial lessons.
- Can I request for a refund if I wish to terminate my swimming lessons after the payment has been made?
No refund and pro-rating of classes on the part of your personal reason.
